Hi, I’m Cameron White — a full stack software developer passionate about building real-time systems that make a real-world impact.

I’ve been professionally developing software for over 4 years, working across industries like crypto, gambling, and data analytics. Whether it's crafting low-latency trading bots, managing scalable backend services, or architecting internal CRMs, I thrive at the intersection of performance, reliability, and clean design.

My journey began with a Bachelor of Computer & Information Science (graduated with distinction), followed by an MBA Essentials certificate from Stellenbosch Business School. I’ve also completed specialized training in Google Cloud and serverless data processing.

Current Focus: Real-Time Crypto Data

Currently, I’m building a real-time crypto data engine as a personal portfolio project — written entirely in TypeScript and built with Redis, InfluxDB, WebSockets, and Next.js. This project showcases my love for performance, real-time data, and modular service architecture.

Future Goals & Interests

My interest in crypto and AI is rooted in my experience working within the fintech sector — where speed, reliability, security, and innovation are key. Over time, I've developed a strong appreciation for the potential of these technologies to reshape how financial systems operate.

I’m particularly fascinated by the evolution of blockchain technology — not just as a financial instrument, but as a foundation for decentralized infrastructure. I'm eager to deepen my understanding of smart contracts, layer 2 scaling, and on-chain data systems, and eventually contribute to protocols and products that drive the decentralized future forward.

I'm also actively exploring ways to merge my backend engineering skills with AI-driven insights, especially in the context of trading and analytics. Long term, I aim to help build systems that are not only reactive but also predictive, resilient, and intelligent — while remaining transparent and ethically grounded.
